Ben Ryé is a "child of the wind" Passito di Pantelleria DOC produced by Donnafugata winery on the island of Pantelleria, Sicily.

Donnafugata Ben Ryé Passito di Pantelleria DOC is a wine made from 100% Zibibbo grapes that are dried in the sun to concentrate the sugars. The passito has a golden color with bright amber reflections. "Child of the wind" is a tribute to the wind that constantly blows between the vineyards of Pantelleria.

On the nose, it is very intense, with fruity notes of apricot, yellow peach and candied orange peel, tropical fruits of mango and papaya, followed by hints of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, the fruity notes and hints of aromatic herbs are found, together with sweet nuances of honey. Intense and persistent, with an extraordinary balance between freshness and sweetness. Ben Ryé is a bewitching Passito, among the most appreciated sweet wines in the world.

Ben Ryé Passito is perfect to be drunk at the end of a meal, paired with dessert. Biscuits such as cantucci or tozzetti, but also tarts, small dry pastries as well as chocolate cakes, just to give a few examples.
