Mantis Pallagrello Bianco is a limited-production wine crafted by Tenuta Pezzapane in Alvignanello, nestled in the heart of Campania, Italy.

This exquisite wine is born from 100% Pallagrello Bianco grapes cultivated on clay-calcareous soils. The cultivation area of Pallagrello Bianco is currently limited to the province of Caserta, primarily in the municipalities of Caiazzo, Castel Campagnano, Castel di Sasso, and neighboring areas. The Pallagrello Bianco vine is characterized by the shape of its cylindrical and winged cluster, which is quite small.

Pallagrello wine showcases a brilliant yellow color with green hues. On the nose, it is complex and intriguing, unveiling fruity notes of apricot and mango, hints of toasted hazelnut, and an undertone of citrus. The palate is smooth and fresh, boasting a full-bodied flavor and a long, persistent finish.

Mantis Pallagrello Bianco is a versatile wine that pairs perfectly with:

  • Seafood Antipasti: Pallagrello Bianco's lively sapidity beautifully complements the delicate flavors of fish and shellfish. Try it with a seafood salad, steamed shrimp, or salmon carpaccio.

  • Fish First Courses: Its balanced acidity makes it ideal for accompanying seafood-based first courses, such as spaghetti alle vongole (clam spaghetti), risotto ai frutti di mare (seafood risotto), or trofie con pesto di basilico e gamberetti (trofie pasta with basil pesto and shrimp).

  • Fresh Cheeses: Pallagrello Bianco pairs well with fresh cheeses like ricotta, mozzarella, and goat cheese, creating an intriguing contrast between the wine's savoriness and the cheese's creaminess.

A wine that embodies the strength and freshness of Campania.
